Grow…

Monday, July 11th, 2005

For those who are yet to know, I’ve been admitted into Universiti Malaya. I’m in the Engineering Faculty, Department of Biomedical Engineering. After such a long time dreaming, at last I’ve reached the another new stage in my life. I’ve been awaiting for changes in my life. Secondary school seems starting to bore me sometime ago. I felt childish there. I acted according to my wish, following my will all the time. It’s the time to grow.

Grow… A basic biological process that every living thing undergoes. Yet, in my opinion, it contains much more meanings to us. When we grow, we change physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically and etc etc… And the word emphasized here is CHANGE.

Why do things have to change? Isn’t it great that things continue to stay the way they are forever and ever eternally? And for those who think so, I could easily guess that they are very lucky people for they must be having whatever they wish for at this moment. However there are much more people out there who wish for changes to take place: beggars, orphans, refugees…

And there was once upon a time when a place named Never-land exists in the imagination of children where people don’t grow old… Is that what we want?

Things are pron ed to change. The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that the disorder in an isolated system tends to increase. Whatever it is, we all know that changes take place and we grow over time.
